Sophie Elkrief joined MAIF in March 2017 as Chief Investment Officer for all group assets.
Sophie started her career in Investment Banking at Salomon Brothers and JP Morgan, in London and New York. In 2001, she joined Dexia Asset Management (Candriam) in Paris and developed a top tier franchise in Special Situations, managing more than (€3bn) in direct investments. In 2009, she took reponsibility for fundamental alternative stratégies, commodities and all credit strategies (€10bn). In 2013, she joined Meeschaert Asset Managment as an ExCo member, to instill “best practices” and grow investment solutions for HNWI.
Sophie Elkrief is a French “Ingénieur Civil des Ponts et Chaussées” and earned an MBA from INSEAD. She is also Independent Board Member of Socgen Mauritanie.
