Eric started his career in 1994 in Paris, with a marketing role at UAP (AXA Group) before joining INVESCO in 1995 where he spent about ten years on different marketing and sales positions. In 2006 he moved to Barclays Global Investors (BGI) in London, to prepare the launch of the French Branch and to lead the ETF activity (iShares). He became BGI Country Manager and Legal Representative in France in 2007 when the Branch was launched, with a main focus on Beta and Alternative solutions.
In 2009, during the purchase of BGI by BlackRock, he worked on the merger of the two French Branches and became Country Manager & Managing Director of the new entity. Eric Wohleber was also a member of the EMEA Retail Executive Committee and of the EMEA Leadership Committee. He left the firm in 2016 to join Amundi with this new role. Eric got a Master degree in Finance at the Paris-Assas University (1994).
