56, Financial Engineer, graduate degree in Law, graduate degree in Economics, postgraduate degree in Banking and Finance, is also graduated from Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (SciencesPo Paris).
He began his career at Matif SA, Marché à Terme International de France (MATIF) the French clearing house for futures and options exchanges, where he was Project Manager in order to set up option and futures contracts.
In August 1995, as Banking Relations Director, he joined Centrale des Règlements Interbancaires (C.R.I.), the French high value payment systems, in charge of RTGNS (Real Time Gross and Net Settlement) composed of two channels: PNS (Paris Net Settlement), RTNS and TBF (Transferts Banque de France), RTGS.
From June 1999 to January 2009 he was Chief Executive Officer of C.R.I.
Apart of the operational aspects of the management of the RTGNS platform and the company itself, he has achieved many responsibilities, such as the management of the Paris Market Crisis Steering, the migration’ organisation of the French banking community to Target2, member of several boards and committees in France and Europe such as SWIFT User Committee, Euroclear Mac and ECSAs’ Target Working Group.
In February 2009, he created 3CJV sas, a consulting company specialized in Payments, Securities and Financial markets expertise with various missions such as CDS Clearing, Cash & Securities flows management, triparty Collateral Management for Banque de France. Following EMIR implementation, he became Chief Operating Officer of LCH.Clearnet SA.
Since May 2015, he is Chief Executive Officer of SEPAmail.eu, French infrastructure in charge of secured email exchange between PSPs: scheme manager, certification’ authority and network operations. The various applications of this network cover as well IBAN verification, E-invoicing Presentment and Payment and banking account’ switching digitalisation. Expert on E-Invoicing and Request To Pay, he has been designated by the French banking community as member of the EPC/ERPB EIPP Multi-Stakeholder Group (MSG) in February 2018, elected Co-chair of this EIPP MSG in January 2019. He is also the French representative in the new Request To Pay MSG put in place in March 2019 at EPC/ERPB level.
